More than two decades ago, BHT began organizing and guiding sports related groups back and forth from Europe to the United States. Due to extensive research, experience and resources, we are able to take care of the smallest details and challenges. We remain engaged with travelers, provide regular updates, and are available via email and phone.
On our tours, travelers discover little known information about the contributions and lifestyles of Black people in other locations besides Africa, and the USA. Visits to Black neighborhoods, museums, cultural centers, archives, special tours, restaurants, and marketplaces, are supported by meaningful interactions with local people and organizations. These experiences leave travelers with a clearer perspective of Black people while highlighting our similarities rather than our differences. Sometimes, we visit a particular destination for its sheer beauty, art, architecture, fashion and design. As we did in Milan and Venice last October 2019, for example. Few traces of Black people could be found there today, but in the 15th and 16th century it is said, 1 person in 10 were of African descent! At every destination, we look to provide the the best experience possible! Our itinerary is created to educate, entertain, and enlighten our travelers. Join us on a voyage, unlike any other! Return home with unforgettable memories!
We encourage travelers to go off the beaten path where locals live, socialize, and shop, with at least one fellow traveler. The itinerary reflects several hours and full days of time on your own. To keep in touch, let a fellow traveler know you are own your own or text us via WhatsApp, Tom Lockhart (41 763035210) or Nazlah Hassan (602-790-5854).
Yes, they do! We stay as close to the tentative itinerary as possible but logistics are subject to change in small ways; weather and local conditions; prices changes, and other factors beyond our control. We will keep travelers informed via email or WhatsApp Broadcast of any changes.
Via email and WhatsApp! We strongly recommend downloading the WhatsApp on your mobile phone after completing the registration process. In order for your number to be added to the Broadcast List, add both Tom (41 763035210) and Nazlah’s (602-790-5854) phone numbers into your contacts. This is the only way BHT can add your number to the List and for you to receive Broadcasts. After downloading the app, to confirm your number was added to the Broadcast, send Tom and Nazlah a message. Find My Friends is an app that friends may want to consider download to keep in touch.
BHT is absolutely committed to your safety. We receive updates and press releases from the US Department of State about travel warnings/conditions in the countries we visit. We also receive updates from several international weather agencies that monitor extreme weather conditions.
We began in Europe and will expand to the Mediterranean, Africa, Asia, North and South America, and the South Pacific, connecting with people throughout the African diaspora; occasionally travelling to other enchanting destinations for their sheer beauty.
